"Make You Feel My Love" Covers

When I think of this love song I usually think of Garth Brooks' version. But today I listened to a few different covers that give Mr. Brooks a run for his money. Which cover is your favorite? Does this song make you think of anyone special?

Mick McAuley & Winifred Horan- I listened to this cover for the first time today and really enjoyed their voices together.


Adele- She is one of my favorite female artists. I love this cover!


Kris Allen- I'm not too familiar with this guy but I gather he is from American Idol. Regardless I liked his cover.


James David Carter- I found this guy's cover on Youtube. He's pretty good! I think he is trying to make a name for himself. He is pretty talented. I wish him the best.

John Lennon & Yoko Ono

The other day the lyrics "Oh My Love" popped into my head. I finally got around to looking up the song tonight. After watching a few John Lennon videos that featured him with his wife, Yoko Ono, I am so struck by the love that they shared for one another. If only we could all feel that kind of love for another person. I think John had the foresight to write the song "Imagine" because he knew that love is what makes the world go round.

Since the beginning of January I have been getting up at 6:30am each morning to exercise to the fitness shows, Body Electric and Classical Stretch on PBS. While doing the grueling Body Electric workout today I heard some really beautiful and moving Paul McCartney songs playing in the background. They made my workout so much more enjoyable!
